Vote NO to all the ballot proposals!

This post expresses the views and opinions of the author(s) and not necessarily that of The North Salem Post management or staff.

After your vote for our local candidates Warren Lucas for Town Supervisor, Peter Kamenstein for Town Councilman, and Ward Hanaburgh for Highway Superintendent- Vote for two amazing women, the first woman nominated for County Executive, Christine Sculti and Gina Arena for District 2 County Legislator; and a host of other great Republican candidates such as Judge Richard Guertin for State Supreme Court with a bullet vote, and …
Then don’t forget to turn over your ballots and Vote NO!

It might seem like an off election year compared to last years election, but there are very important issues on the ballot besides the candidates. It’s the ballot propositions. VOTE NO!
All the “no’s” in the image below are correct, and in addition add “No” to Proposition #2 too (The green amendment).
We all want clean air and water, but the simplicity of the language of Proposition #2 to “the right to clean air and water” that will amend our New York Constitution if passed is concerning. This amendment threatens home rule and will only make the lawyers happy by encouraging litigious suits against people, organizations and municipalities.
So Vote “NO” to propositions 1, 2, 3 and 4!
