NSRTC Black History Month Tributes

The North Salem Republican Town Committee honors Black History Month.  Ethel Waters was a legendary and ground breaking artist.  She was the first African-American to star in her own television show and to be nominated for a Primetime Emmy Award; and also the first African-American woman to integrate Broadway.   In addition, she helped spread the Gospel at Billy Graham’s Crusades for almost two decades.  See the wonderful tribute by Franklin Graham along with her classic rendition of His Eye is on the Sparrow at https://www.facebook.com/199937980037796/posts/4042571259107763/?d=n
