NSRTC Black History Month Tributes

The North Salem Republican Town Committee celebrates Black History  month.  Herman Cain started from humble beginnings and grew up in poverty in the segregated South.  He rose from that adversity to graduate Morehouse College with a Bachelors degree in Mathematics.  He also received a Masters Degree in Computer Science at Purdue University while working as a civilian ballistics analyst in the Navy.  Mr. Cain’s keen intellect left him well equipped for a successful business career, where he worked for several successful Fortune 500 companies before he eventually became the Chairman and CEO of Godfathers Pizza.  Herman’s foray into politics started years before his wit and enthusiasm propelled him to run as a candidate for the 2012 Republican Presidency, speaking famously of his 9-9-9 tax plan.  Read more about Herman Cain’s biography at https://www.britannica.com/biography/Herman-Cain
