NSRTC Black History Month Tributes

The North Salem Republican Town Committee celebrates Black History Month, and honors the achievements of black Americans. Condoleezza Rice, who despite being raised in Birmingham, Alabama in the segregated South, went on to become a first in many fields. First woman, and first African-American to serve as Provost at Stanford University; First woman appointed to serve as National Security Advisor; First African-American woman to become the U.S. Secretary of State, and many more accomplishments and accolades too numerous to count. She is now the Director of the Hoover Institution, view her accomplished biography at https://www.hoover.org/profiles/condoleezza-rice
