The Access Nature Project and D.I.G. Farm reach out to underserved communities for nature’s benefits

The ACCESS NATURE PROJECT hosted Community Based Services of North Salem, and The Sunshine Club of Mohegan Lake, to a day on D.I.G. Farm last week. This ANP program, “Increases overall stress management, healthy coping mechanisms, and relaxation” according to Kevin Costello, Program Director of the Sunshine Club. The Access Nature Project is an initiative of D.I.G. Farm, and creates outdoor nature programs for the underserved so they can gain the benefits of being in nature. D.I.G.Farm, reconnecting communities to the nature good of the farm, is a non-profit working farm in North Salem.
