On behalf of the Climate Smart Community Leadership Team, I want to thank the North Salem Improvement Society and the many individuals who took the time to pick up garbage along our roads this April. It made an enormous difference. It is easy to feel overwhelmed by the environmental issues facing us today. Projects like this provide visible proof that individual efforts matter.
