Light Up the Night Girls Dance - Fri Jun 10 6:30 pm
The Light Up The Night Girls Dance is hosted by North Salem Girl Scout Troop 02950. All North Salem school district members and or residents in grades K through 6 are welcome. All girls MUST be accompanied by a guest age 18 and up. Be sure to wear your favorite party clothes and come for a night of dancing, dessert, photos & friends. The Glass House 2022 Summer Party - Sat Jun 11 12:00 pm
After a two-year hiatus, we are excited to be returning to an in-person Summer Party and once again welcome guests to celebrate on site with us on the occasion of our 15th Anniversary. Since opening our doors in 2007 as a public museum, The Glass House has remained a site of international significance. Cloud Wanderings of Wang Mansheng June 11th Reception 1 - 4pm with Artist’s talk at 2pm
Free and open to the public.
This exhibition presents paintings and calligraphy in the Chinese tradition by Wang Mansheng that explore the spirit of the natural world and venture into contemporary meaning. Divided into three parts, the show includes landscape paintings and calligraphy in Guild Hall, colorful paintings of lotus in the Hays Gallery, and a selection of album paintings. [more details]
Coffee and Conversation in Mahopac with State Sen. Pete Harckham - Sat Jun 11 1:00 pm
New York State Senator Pete Harckham will host a “coffee and conversation” gathering from 1 to 2 p.m. on Saturday, June 11 at the Mahopac Public Library, 668 Route 6, Mahopac, NY. This event will give Senator Harckham an opportunity to share a roundup of the newly completed session of the State Legislature with attendees and discuss other issues that are important to the community.
