North Salem Central School District residents approved the proposed 2022-2023 budget by a margin of 358-160 Monday.
Voters also approved a proposed resolution to purchase new school buses for the district. That vote passed by a margin of 373-145.
Voters elected three candidates to three open seats on the Board of Education. Board of Ed president Deb D’Agostino was re-elected with 370 votes. Trustee Brandy Keenan was re-elected with 374 votes. Newcomer Fran Havard was elected with 391 votes. Trustees serve 3-year terms beginning July 1.
