Railyard Arts Studio announced new adult and youth classes for spring and themed summer camps for children entering grades 1 - 6. The Croton Falls arts studio will offer adult classes in drawing, painting, clay, knitting, crochet and art therapy. Kids and teen classes include art labs, clay, knitting and art therapy.
“Railyard Arts Studio was formed with a mission to create a supportive art community that encourages the development of our local artists, said Jill Leary, founder and director of Railyard Arts Studio. “We focus our classes and workshops around our student's interests to promote growth and widen their exposure to many forms of creative expression.”
Spring classes start the week of March 28 and run for 7 weeks, with the exception of the week of April 11 - 16.
Railyard’s art therapy classes for young adults are taught by board certified art therapist Lynn Cukaj, and will run for four weeks. The session will focus on mixed media. Art therapy for younger children will focus on social skills and art therapy for special needs.
Beginning July 11, Railyard will host themed weekly summer day camps for elementary aged students. Classes will run Monday through Friday from 9:00 a.m. - 12:00 p.m.
