The North Salem Lions Club announced Tuesday that it will return its annual golf outing this summer. The Club’s 55th anniversary golf outing will be held at Salem Golf Club in North Salem on August 29, 2022.

The outing will include a 4-person best ball contest, longest drive and closest to the pin contest. A continental breakfast, barbecue lunch and dinner will be served, along with awards and raffle prizes. Community members who do not wish to participate in the golf outing are invited to attend dinner that evening.

Portions of proceeds from the outing will go to two nonprofits: Cooley’s Anemia Foundation and New Dawn Family Resource Center. Cooley’s Anemia Foundation was founded in 1954 to help people affected by thalassemia, a life-threatening genetic blood disorder. New Dawn provides and expands support for programs and services for victims of domestic abuse, sexual assault, elder abuse and human trafficking in Northern Westchester.

Early Bird registration fees are $280 per player until April 30th and $300 per player after April 30.
