Call for artists: Ruth Keeler Memorial Library invites local artists to exhibit their work

The Ruth Keeler Memorial Library is seeking local artists to exhibit their work on the library’s gallery wall. The gallery wall is the first thing library patrons see when they walk into the building, and provides an opportunity for community members to celebrate the creativity that exists here in town.

“We are delighted to have this exhibit wall and to showcase artists, said Carolyn Reznick, director of the Ruth Keeler Memorial Library.”Our mandate is to serve the community and this is one of the ways in which we can do it.”

The gallery wall exhibit changes every month. A few months every year are reserved for works by North Salem schools kids. Artists are invited to host receptions to showcase their work and can sell their art work as well. The Library asks anyone who is interested in exhibiting to email the library,
