Railyard Arts Studio
Japanese Bookbinding developed in Japan from scrolls that were unrolled and flattened and folded into a zig zag pattern. They formed a butterfly book fold and developed into an accordion, eventually being bound on one side to form the books we now know as a Japanese stab binding. Join us as we explore this versatile art. You can bring papers made in the Turkish Marbling class or paper will be provided for you. One can use the books for journals, notes, photo albums or keepsake albums or more.
