Wind advisory in effect for Northern Westchester Thursday night into Friday

The National Weather Service has issued a Wind Advisory for our area from 11:00 p.m. Thursday night through 10:00 a.m. Friday morning.

Southwest winds of 25-35 mph, with gusts up to 55 mph are expected. Residents are advised to secure any unsecured outdoor objects and to use extra caution when driving, especially if operating a high profile vehicle. 

Scattered tree limbs are expected and a few trees and power lines could be blown down. Power outages are possible.
