North Salem students earn undergraduate honors for the fall 2021 semester

More than a dozen college students from the North Salem area were named to the dean’s list at their respective universities for the fall 2021 semester. Read on to see who earned the honors.



SUNY-Cortlandt: Sydney Heanue of North Salem was named to the dean's list at SUNY Cortland for the fall semester. Students must earn a minimum 3.3 grade point average for the semester to make the list.

SUNY-Oneonta: Hailey Rankel of North Salem, Aarianna Stickney and Sierra Stickney of North Salem, Anthony Foglia and Philip Foglia of Somers all earned Dean's List honors for the fall 2021 semester. To qualify for the Dean's List, a student must earn a grade-point average of 3.5 or higher while carrying a course load of 12 hours or more.

University of AlabamaAntonia Macera of North Salem earned President's List honors for the fall 2021 semester. 

Alvernia University: Michael Ryan of Croton Falls has been named to Alvernia’s Dean’s List for the fall 2021 semester.

Bryant University: Zachary Bertolino, Class of 2023, of Purdys has been named to the Deans' List for the fall 2021 semester.

Champlain College: Michael Verdi of North Salem named to Champlain College President's List for the Fall 2021 semester. Students on the President's List have achieved a grade point average of 4.0 or higher during the semester. Verdi is currently enrolled in the Computer Networking & Cybersecurity major.

Fordham University: Kara Rollins of Somers was named to the Dean's List for the fall 2021 semester. Rollins, a junior, is majoring in Business Administration with a concentration in Marketing and secondary in Sports Business

University of Tampa: Rachel Freeman and Michael Horan both earned Dean’s List honors. Students must maintain a GPA of 3.75 or higher to be eligible for the dean's list. Freeman is majoring in Communication, Media, and Culture BA. Horan is majoring in Management BS.

Ithaca College: James McHugh of Purdys, Ben Schneck of North Salem and Alexa Tamis of North Salem were all named to the Dean's List for the fall 2021 semester.

University of Scranton: Natalie ​​Intrieri of North Salem was named to the Dean’s List for the fall 2021 semester.A student must have a grade point average of 3.5 or better with a minimum number of credit hours during the semester to make the Dean's List.
