How to participate in North Salem town government the week of January 24 - 28

There are two public meetings scheduled to take place in North Salem this week. On Monday, January 24, the Conservation Advisory Council will meet at 7:30 p.m. On Tuesday, January 25, the Town Board will hold a regular meeting/work session at 7:30 p.m.

The Conservation Advisory Council meeting will be held via Zoom. Agenda items include discussion of a wetlands restoration project with the North Salem Open Land Foundation, a beautification project in Purdys, a lighting project, schedule for easement inspections, and more. The North Salem Town Board meeting will be held in person and via Zoom. Agenda items include the appointment of capital planning committee members, appointment of Climate Smart committee members, authorization to seek bids for transportation for Mountain Lakes day camp this summer, and authorization to sign an agreement with Willdan for an energy efficiency program at 3 Owens Road.
