North Salem boys varsity basketball team picks up back-to-back wins

After losing to Carmel in the championship game of the North Salem Booster Club Basketball tournament, the North Salem Tigers boys varsity basketball team bounced back this week with back-to-back wins against Putnam Valley and Dobbs Ferry.



On Tuesday night, the Tigers defeated Putnam Valley 65-46. Senior Roger Squire led the team’s offense with 36 points. Ryan Baer and Andrew Viebrock each scored 10 points.

On Wednesday night, the Tigers bested Dobbs Ferry by 12 points, 62-50. North Salem’s top scorers were Roger Squire with 27 points and Ryan Baer with 20 points.

The boys travel to Putnam Valley Friday. Game time is 4:30 p.m.
