Free at-home COVID tests are now available via United States Postal Service

Residential households in the U.S. can now order one set of four free at-home tests from USPS.com. Orders will be sent through First Class Package Service and are expected to ship starting in late January.

The Biden Administration recently purchased one billion at-home, rapid COVID-19 tests to distribute to Americans. Additionally, as of January 15, private health insurance companies are now required to cover at-home COVID-19 tests for free. Insurance companies and health plans are required to cover eight free at-home tests per covered individual per month.

Here’s what you need to know about your order:

• Limit of one order per residential address
• One order includes 4 individual rapid antigen COVID-19 tests
• Orders will ship free starting in late January
