Two hour waits at local testing sites. Appointments booked for the next several days. COVID-19 tests seem to be the most in-demand item of 2022 so far. For those who want to get tested for COVID-19 or are just looking to stock up on a few tests in case the need arises, at-home kits are a good option.
In the past two weeks, both the Town of North Salem and the North Salem Central School District distributed tests en masse to their constituents via partnerships with local and state government agencies. However, both Town Supervisor Warren Lucas and North Salem CSD assistant superintendent Adam VanDerStuyf said they had no expectations that they would be able to secure additional tests for further distribution in the near future.
