121 Restaurant tonight announced via an Instagram Story that it was temporarily closed due to an employee testing positive for COVID-19. In the social media post, the restaurant said, "today, Wednesday March 31, we would like to notify customers that we are temporarily closing the restaurant for a precautionary cleaning and sanitization as a team member has tested positive for COVID-19. The employee did not come in the day the symptoms arose and has since been quarantined. We are going to do a complete deep clean as to not further the spread."

When reached by phone earlier today, 121 Restaurant manager Terry Costin declined to comment as to whether the restaurant was experiencing any positive cases among staff and referred all inquiries to the restaurant's human resources team. At the time of this writing, the HR team had not responded to requests for comment.
