Inaugural Bedford Barks festival delights the four-legged set

Socializing isn’t just for humans. Four-legged friends from around the area convened at the Bedford Village Memorial Park Saturday for the first annual Bedford Barks, a pet adoption and dog social.

Pups and their owners enjoyed an ‘ask the trainer’ booth, a photo booth, agility demonstrations, dog contest and parade, live music, food trucks and treats and specialty “Starbarks Puppuccinos.”

Representatives from Rescue Right, a Bedford-based pet rescue, adoption and sanctuary, brought their cutest, most adoptable dogs.
