Hayfield's After Hours - Sat Jun 3 4:00 pm

Every Saturday from 4-9pm join us in the garden for a simple hang... Apres Sports, Apres Errands. We aren't a restaurant, we aren't your home. We are Hayfields. Sometimes an easy hang is all you need. Join us every Saturday "after hours" and enjoy a garden-style buffet, beer and wine and light music. Bring your own cards or dice if you want. North Salem Bridle Trails Assoc. Trail Ride - Sun Jun 4 9:30 am

This will be the first ride in our summer trail ride series. It's a great way to learn the trails or just enjoy a relaxing ride with friends.We will meet at Valentine Farm. Please park your trailers along Wallace Road in such a way so as not to block traffic. If you can hack to Wallace, even better. Our trusty guides will show you a beautiful loop that will bring you over to Baxter Road and back. Please note there are at least 3 stream crossings so your horse will have to be ok with water. [more details]


Birds of Prey Day - Sun Jun 4 10:00 am

Our grounds are open! Open your ears and discover a world of fascinating sounds through our Sonic Innovations exhibition and live performances. Thereminist Dorit Chrysler performs and leads workshops on the world’s oldest electronic instrument. Jonny Allen interprets Iannis Xenakis’ multi-percussion piece Rebonds, as well as plays and jogs between nine suspended bells in excerpts of Tom Johnson’s Nine Bells. [more details]
