North Salem Recreation Department announces new programming at Community Center

The North Salem Recreation Department  announced Thursday that it will begin its inaugural season of programs at the new North Salem Community Center beginning next week. A limited, late spring catalog of programs will run through the start of summer.

Programming for children, adults and seniors is available and includes a range of classes, including arts & crafts, music, health and wellness.

“We hope everyone will find a program to enjoy this season but we would love to hear your suggestions for future programs. We plan to begin full programing at the North Salem Community Center in the fall,” said Lauren Rosasco, superintendent of recreation for the Town of North Salem.

Spring classes & programs:

  • Craft corner for K-5
  • Senior fitness
  • Music together for babies & toddlers
  • Preschool yoga (with caregiver)
  • Senior crafts
  • Adult co-ed soccer
  • Guided meditation
  • Men’s drop-in basketball
