Events are popping up all over this first weekend in May. Here in North Salem, Folkways Wines is hosting a 'toast to Austria' at their shop in Croton Falls Saturday afternoon. And the North Salem Republicans are hosting their spring fundraiser. Also on Saturday - Salem Fest, North Salem High School's celebration of their spring student athletes. Stop by one of the four games--baseball, softball or boys and girls lacrosse--and support your Tigers in action.
There's truly something for every type of weekend person over the next two days. Outdoorsy types can volunteer at the local preserves, trails and farms. Folks who prefer to relax over food and music might want to check out Hayfield's new "After Hours" hang - happening every Saturday evening in May. There's just so much to do - what will you get up to?
