It’s almost spring, which means that Easter is right around the corner. This year Easter falls on Sunday, April 9. The Easter Bunny has been busy preparing for the big day and here in North Salem we are fortunate to have four local options for egg hunts and bunny sightings between now and then.

Pegasus Farm Annual Easter Egg Hunt

Pegasus Therapeutic Riding invites families to join them for an Easter Egg Hunt on the farm. The event, which is open to the entire community, includes an egg hunt, bake sale, crafts, games, photo ops and barn tours. Registered attendees are encouraged to bring a basket and some friends for a fun-filled afternoon. A $10 donation is suggested per car; all donations will help support Pegasus’s programs and services.
Sunday, March 26; 10:00 a.m. - 2:00 p.m.

North Salem Lions Club Easter Basket Drive-by

The North Salem Lions Club is hosting a free Easter Basket Drive By at the North Salem Town Hall campus for Town and North Salem Central School District families. The North Salem Lion and the Easter Bunny will team up to gift children ages 2-11 an Easter basket. Advance registration is required.

Harvest Moon Farm & Orchard Annual Easter Egg Hunt
Each child who attends Harvest Moon’s 2023 Egg Hunt will receive entry to a timed, age appropriate egg hunt, an egg carton for collecting eggs, a set of bunny ears and a visit with the Easter Bunny. The ticketed event ($18 per child + one adult, $5 for each additional adult), will take place on four weekend dates in early April, and is open to children 8 and under. Egg hunts are separated by age groups, including: 3 and under; 4 to 6 and 7 and 8.

St James Episcopal Church
The North Salem church will host an Easter Eucharist Service followed by an Easter Egg Hunt on its Titicus Road property. The church has recently made efforts to attract younger families, including offering babysitting services during its Sunday 10:00 a.m. service.
