The North Salem High School varsity boys basketball team played for a cause Wednesday night as they hosted “Dunk Pink,” a fundraiser for the Side-Out Foundation in support of breast cancer research.
The boys played Croton Harmon High School in a fundraising game at North Salem High School. Families attending the game were asked to voluntarily contribute $5 as an entry fee into the game, with funds going directly to the cause.
Wednesday night was also Senior Night for the Tigers’ Class of 2023 players. The boys were recognized on the court, along with their families.
The Tigers beat Croton Harmon 56-41. Senior Sincere Andrews scored 14 points. Senior Jack Litchfield scored 12. Junior Matthew Moia and freshman Max Cotrone each put up 11 points. Croton Harmon's Aidan Callahan led scoring for his team with 13 points.
The Tigers next face Putnam Valley on Friday, February 3 at 4:30 p.m.
