Booster Club Basketball Tournament: North Salem beats Keio Academy in first round action

North Salem High School’s varsity girls basketball team kept the wins rolling Friday night as they roundly defeated Keio Academy in first round action of the Booster Club Basketball Tournament. The final score was 53-12, North Salem.

Senior Emma Zoubok led scoring for the Tigers with 16 points, followed by Freshman Noemi Torres with 11 points. Juniors Jaiden Donovan and Sarafina DePaola each added 10 points. Amy Mitsuhashi scored 8 of Keio's 12 points.

Fans once again turned out to support their Tigers, including a "Black Out" student section.

Girls from North Salem Youth Basketball formed a tunnel to welcome North Salem’s players to the court at the start of the game.

The Tigers advance to the championship game Saturday vs. Bronxville at 4:00 p.m.
