On Saturday evening, the North Salem Improvement Society will host its annual Christmas Eve festivities at the town tree on Titicus Road. Community members are invited to join for what promises to be a festive evening of caroling, a bonfire, hot cocoa, cider and cookies. Santa will make a special guest appearance to hear last minute Christmas wishes from the children of North Salem.

Community organizations have been busy preparing for the event by decorating Christmas trees representative of their group’s work. Residents are encouraged to check out the trees the night of the event or any evening from now through January 2, 2023.

The event will take place at 6:00 p.m. at the greenspace on Titicus Road just east of Keeler Lane and Baxter Road. Parking is limited, so carpooling is strongly encouraged.
