Santa Claus is coming to North Salem this weekend

Ordinarily, the sounds of sleigh bells or reindeer hooves on the rooftop signify that Santa is near. This weekend, however, Santa will make his presence known with sirens. Santa is making his annual pre-Christmas visit to North Salem thanks to the help of the Croton Falls Fire Department’s 2022 Candy Cane Run.

“It’s one of our favorite events of the year,” said CFFD first assistant chief Jeffery Daday. “We all look forward to it.”

Santa and his firefighter helpers will parade through town on CFFD trucks, spreading cheer (and candy canes) throughout the Croton Falls Fire District Sunday, December 18 from 10:00 a.m. through 4:15 p.m. The department is providing an online tracker so that residents can track his progress (the link will go live Sunday morning).
