The word of the weekend is 'festive.' At this point in December, we're reaching peak holiday season. There's holiday cocktail sipping at Folkways in Croton Falls, a first-ever Mistletoe Market at Honeybee Grove Flower Farm in Somers (Santa will be there!), a holiday stroll in Katonah, gingerbread house pop-up card making in Croton Falls, and the list goes on (and on).

Not feeling the holiday vibes? There are still plenty of activities to take part in - from a gardening chat at the Keeler Library to a book sale at the Ridgefield Library, high school hockey at the Brewster Ice Arena, family yoga and more.  Whatever mood you're in this weekend, there's something for you. Santa will be there, riding in style on the VW Picture bus for photos with Santa. There will be wreath decorating (tickets required), local artisan vendors and much more.

Join a fun and informal group of painters and artists, beginners and experienced, on Friday mornings at the library at 10:30 to work together. There is no instruction, and you can draw, paint or work in any medium you choose. You must bring your materials.

Muscoot Farm: Holiday Lights on the Farm - Fri Dec 9 5:00 pm

Get into the holiday spirit and see the farm decked out in a new light! In addition to the dazzling decorations, participate in a variety of activities including cookie decorating, crafts, games, and more. On Saturdays, the event will include a holiday market where you can purchase gifts and other treats. Registration is required and general admission is $25, which grants access for up to 4 guests. Additional tickets may be purchased for $5 per person as an add on.
