North Salem native Juliette Intrieri, a junior at Brandeis University, earned All-Region honors at the 2022 Division III East Regional Championships in women’s cross country Saturday. Intrieri finished in 22nd place with a time of 23:09.2, helping her team earn a third-place finish at the meet, which was held at Bowdoin College in Brunswick, Maine.

Seventh-ranked MIT won the meet with 36 points, while #16 Bates finished second with 64 points. The Brandeis Judges finished with 142 points.

This was the second time Intrieri earned All-Region honors. She first earned the distinction last year, placing 23rd in the championships.

Last month, Intrieri was named to Brandeis’ Fall 2022 Academic All-UAA team, a recognition awarded to student-athletes who have completed at least one full year of college study and who carry a minimum cumulative grade point average of 3.3.
