North Salem Recreation Department announces winter programs

The North Salem Recreation Department today announced that its winter programs are now available for registration. The department is offering programs for youth, adults and senior citizens.

Youth & Adults

Skiing & Snowboarding at Thunder Ridge

Evening 6-week program for adults and children 8+, starting the week of January 4, 2023. Choose your day and time. 90-minute lessons offered Mondays - Thursdays at 5:30 p.m., Fridays at 5:00 and 6:30 p.m., Saturdays at 3:30 and 5:00 p.m. and Sundays at 3:30 p.m.

Freestyle snowboarding lessons for intermediate-level boarders are offered Wednesdays at 5:30 p.m. and Fridays at 5:00 p.m.

Deadline to register is December 1, 2022.

Ice Skating at Brewster Ice Arena

The Learn-to-Skate program is for 4-12 year olds at varying levels of skating experience. The winter session starts January 6 and the fee includes entrance to public skate session before the lesson. *Skate rental not included.

Fridays 5:30-6:00pm OR Sundays 11:30am-12:00pm

Fee: $185 per session, per skater

Seniors

The North Salem Senior Citizen Club will host a holiday party at a date and time to be announced. For more information about the club, contact Beverly Golisano at (914) 669-5665.
