Putnam Humane Society Pet of the Week: Basil

Pet of the Week is a regular feature from the Putnam Humane Society that spotlights pets that are available for adoption.

Basil is an 8 year-old female cat who came to the Putnam Humane Society totally emaciated. She had an infected eye and it had to be removed. It was found to be cancerous. She’s okay for now but the vet said she has about seven months to live; we’re hoping he’s wrong. Basil is such a sweet girl. We would love to find a home for Basil for the last months that she may have. Putnam Humane Society will pay all the vet bills incurred.
