What to do in North Salem this weekend: Friday, Oct 28 - Sunday, Oct 30

The jack-o'-lanterns are carved and the skeletons and scarecrows are in position. That can only mean one thing: it's Halloween weekend. While Halloween falls on Monday this year, local organizations and businesses are getting a jump start on the festivities. There are Halloween parades in neighboring Ridgefield and Katonah, a spooky Oktoberfest in Cross River and Halloween-themed yoga in Brewster.

Halloween not your thing? There's still plenty to do this weekend, including guided meditation, painting at the library, wine tasting in Croton Falls and a wreath-making workshop in Somers.  Read on for our full list.
