It's another busy fall weekend in North Salem and the surrounding area. Festivities abound, from an author talk at the Ruth Keeler Library to the 2nd annual North Salem Arts & Food Festival. Pequenakonck Elementary is hosting its annual Harvest Fair, the Ridgefield Library is holding its annual children's book fair, the Brewster, Katonah and South Salem Fire Departments all are hosting open houses and there is more than one music festival on the calendar. Lewisboro Land Trust: October Toddler Hike - Fri Oct 14 9:30 am

Toddlers can socialize while exploring the preserve that will be changing with the season. This program allows toddlers to walk at their own pace, stopping to explore along the way. The expansive meadow and felled oak tree are a wonderful spot to observe the changes they see in the landscape, fostering a keen awareness of seasons and the cycles of nature. Our friends from the NYS Police will be here with their vehicle rollover simulator. Last, come talk to us about joining, we are always looking for new members to help our great community.
