The Hammond Museum and Japanese Stroll Garden heartily welcomes everyone back for a diverse and exciting 3 seasons of relaxing garden strolls, art exhibitions, cultural programs, tea ceremonies, workshops, tai chi and meditation sessions, and of course our Annual Moon Viewing concert of traditional Japanese music.

Guild Hall Gallery: Brush With Nature

Annual exhibition of the Asian Brush Artists Guild

Chinese brush painting rooted in the quiet contemplation of nature.

Hays Gallery: Color and Content

A memorial retrospective exhibition of iconic series by noted artist

Sheilah Rechtschaffer. (1938-2021)

A master of color, Rechtschaffer’s impressionist works and environmental installations were both thought provoking and beautiful. This survey exhibition also includes works from her most recent and joyful Jazz series.

Goelet Gallery: Against the Grain: New Expressions in Origami

Ben Parker and Thomas R. Crain

Each artist has his own distinct approach to the material that takes origami beyond its traditional craft roots and breaks free of the expected imagery.
