Lewisboro Land Trust: January Preschool Nature Walk & Bonfire

Join us to celebrate the new year with a fire pit and marshmallows for roasting at Ward Pound Ridge Reservation!

For our first preschool nature program of 2022, we will welcome the new year with a hike that ends with a fire pit at one of Ward Pound Ridge Reservation’s lean-to shelters. LLT will provide the fire, hot cocoa, and marshmallows. The exact shelter number and location details will be announced closer to the date.

This program is designed for ages 3-5, but all ages are welcome. Sturdy shoes and warm layers are suggested. Heavy rain and inclement weather will reschedule (we still hike in light to steady rain with appropriate clothing/umbrellas). PLEASE CARRY MASKS FOR TIMES WHEN DISTANCE CANNOT BE MAINTAINED.

Advance registration is required and limited to 25 individuals. Please remember to cancel or inform us if you’re unable to make it.

Ward Pound Ridge Reservation is located at Reservation Rd., Pound Ridge, NY 10576. The entrance is off of Route 121/Old Post Rd. just south of Route 35. More details about how to find the exact parking lot and shelter within the park will be provided a few days before the event.
